Tony Stark, Captain America and Black Panther’s MCU Return Plans(Reports)- Will Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans Agree For Another Marvel Run?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has introduced a plethora of beloved characters over the years. T’Challa, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers are three of the most iconic characters in the MCU. They represent different ideals and perspectives, but they are all united by their commitment to protecting the world and the people they love.
Recently, the author of the new Marvel book MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios Joanna Robinson spoke on the potential return of these three characters as Marvel is looking for a “soft reboot” of MCU.
Will The Past Characters Return?
T’Challa, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers have all played pivotal roles in the MCU. They have led the Avengers on numerous missions, and they have helped to save the world from countless threats.
Their time in the MCU is sadly over, and fans got hurt with this news. However, recently, while speaking on The Watch podcast, the author of the new Marvel book MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios Joanna Robinson suggested that these past characters might return to the MCU.
“As the MCU spilled over into streaming programs and the Multiverse Saga, Feige had to learn different lessons from the comics: how superheroes periodically needed to be rebooted, how to stop variants and spinoffs from spiraling out of control, how an annual mega-crossover event could unify a disparate line of characters.”
It suggests re-introducing characters like T’Challa aka Black Panther, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers, aka Captain America.
Will Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans Agree to MCU Return?
It is possible that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans could agree to return to the MCU in the future. However, it is also possible that they will not.
At an earlier event, ExtraTV asked Downey Jr. about a fourth Iron Man flick.
“Does he want to do that?!” Downey joked about his friend Tom Cruise. “Tom, don’t take it!”
On the other hand, Chris Evans was asked in a GQ profile, if he’d ever go back to act in a Marvel film, presumably reprising his role as Captain America. “Yeah, maybe,” Evans responded. “I’ll never say never, just because it was such a wonderful experience.”
The MCU is constantly evolving, and Marvel Studios is always looking for new ways to surprise and delight fans. So, they might return, or maybe not- who knows until any official announcement appears! It all depends on the right project, the right team, and the right timing.
