It looks like the third teaser for Avengers: Doomsday has been released, and no, it’s not Doctor Doom like many thought. Instead, lucky fans got to see the X-Men back in action, more specifically, Professor X, Magneto, and Cyclops.
According to Demet Koc, editor-in-chief and co-founder of Nexus Point News, the teaser “opens with dark scenes inside the X-Mansion.” It then shows a plate that says ‘Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters’. Finally, Professor X, aka Charles Xavier, comes into view, sitting in his chair.
As a king chess piece floats in the air, fans can see Magneto blurred in the background. It’s revealed that Charles is wearing a blue jacket complete with a red-and-black X symbol. He is holding hands with Erik, and the camera finally turns to him, showing a smile on his face.
Later, the teaser cuts to Cyclops, who is seen removing his iconic visor, only for his face to be covered with something black, which could either be mud or blood. As a blast of energy shoots from his eyes, metal legs belonging to a Sentinel are shown behind him.

Demet also revealed that Magneto could be heard in the background giving a bone-chilling speech: “Death comes for us all, that’s all I know for sure. The question isn’t are you prepared to die, the question is who would you be when you close your eyes?” (via X).
While she first reported that this was Charles’s speech, she later corrected it, saying, “It’s Magneto saying this btw. Sorry for the confusion.” She added that the quote is said in four parts throughout the teaser.

When the X-Men’s entry into the MCU was revealed for the first time, fans sure had their doubts. Yes, their excitement was unmatched, but somewhere, they were concerned about how they would fit into this well-established universe. Would the MCU really make room for our favorite mutants?
Well, it looks like they did, and how. After hearing the reports on the X-Men trailer, fans couldn’t be more excited. They are praising Marvel for its writing and for being at its peak at the moment.

On the other hand, many fans seem upset with the revelation that Cyclops’s costume will not include the yellow trunks.
So far, a video has not been leaked on social media, unlike Chris Evans‘ and Chris Hemsworth‘s teasers. Even if it does, it will only be a matter of time before Marvel takes it all down.
Avengers: Doomsday – Which Teaser Is Next?
Captain America, Thor, and now the X-Men – some of the biggest players of Avengers: Doomsday have teased their story in the upcoming movie. Now the question is, who is next?
According to previous reports, Robert Downey Jr‘s Doctor Doom was supposed to be revealed in one of these teasers. Scooper @MyTimeToShineH stated earlier this month, “Doom was supposed to go first.” This was before Evans’s teaser was shown.
They also added, “The four ‘trailers’ aren’t really trailers, they’re four short scenes, each focusing on a different character,” meaning that there’s only one left. Apparently, instead of Doom, the final teaser will feature the Wakandans and Fantastic Four.
According to @MyTimeToShineH, the final teaser will see Shuri meeting Ben Grimm. Unfortunately, those looking forward to seeing Doom will have to wait until the release of Avengers: Doomsday or its official trailer. The report claims, “The Doom-focused teaser is no more.“
