Justin Baldoni’s Wife Refused to Make Peace With Blake Lively After Her Actions in ‘It Ends With Us’

Justin Baldoni‘s wife, Emily Baldoni, allegedly has no interest in making peace with Blake Lively or conceding to her demands. In a leaked text from Baldoni’s business partner, Jamey Heath, fans got a glimpse of Emily’s response to the whole Lively-Baldoni drama.
Baldoni earlier revealed that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, forced him to issue a statement taking accountability for the drama that took place during the promotion of It Ends With Us. Heath was asked about the alleged apology letter in a leaked text message, to which he responded that they were ready to fight it.
He further shared Emily’s response to the demand, sharing, “Emily says, ‘f**k no. We’re not writing any letter. She made this bed, now she can f**king live in it. Let’s fight! We’re done.'” Heath further shared that Baldoni agreed with his wife’s stance, sharing, “Well, you heard her. Let’s fight. No letter.”

Baldoni and Emily got married in July 2013. She is a Swedish actress known for the movie Coherence. She also appeared in a small role in It Ends With Us as Dr. Julie. The couple has two children: Maiya Grace Baldoni, born in June 2015, and Maxwell Roland-Samuel Baldoni, born in October 2017.
Blake Lively Allegedly Drafted Apology for Justin Baldoni to Release

Justin Baldoni alleged on his website, detailing the timeline of events on the It Ends With Us set, that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds penned an apology statement for him to issue publicly (via Page Six). He claimed that they forced him to “take full accountability” for the movie’s bad publicity.
In August 2024, the celebrity couple allegedly complained to WME that Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios positioned them as “promoting the film as a Barbie film.” They were allegedly upset that the studio positioned “Baldoni to speak on the more serious messaging” of the movie.
Lively and Reynolds went on to draft a statement of contrition for Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios. The latter had to publish this ‘apology’ statement, where they were “taking accountability for the negative press toward Lively and Reynolds.” The letter was dated August 12, 2024, around the time when Lively faced backlash for the It Ends With Us promotion tactics.
The statement also allegedly said, “Blake Lively, [author] Colleen Hoover, the entire cast and crew led with professionalism every step of the way, any negativity aimed at them is ours to own.” Here is the alleged letter:
This is the statement that Ryan and Blake wrote for Justin. They wanted JB and Wayferer to take the blame for the bad press Blake was getting!

According to Baldoni, Wayfarer found the statement to be “vague, implies culpability without substance, and fails to address the issues at hand.” Baldoni claimed that WME determined that “if the goal was to mitigate negative online attention directed at Lively, the statement would have the opposite effect.”
As a result, Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios rejected Lively’s alleged demand to issue a statement of apology.
Jamey Heath Also Accused Blake Lively of Forcing Him to Write a Letter
Justin Baldoni’s partner, Jamey Heath, was also furious at another letter that Blake Lively allegedly forced him to write. In a leaked email from Heath to his partners, the Wayfarer founder slammed Lively’s demand to be given a producer credit on the movie (via In Touch Weekly).
In the email, Heath began, “I’m writing to you all regarding a letter that I wrote on behalf of Justin and myself addressed to the Producers Guild.” He claimed that the studio received a request from Lively to write a recommendation on her behalf to receive the PGA mark. He shared:
This was a request that we feel was unreasonable and cold hearted. Essentially, the movie [It Ends With Us] has been taken unjustly from Justin as a director and essentially from Wayfarer’s control due to the extortion of Blake.
Heath shared that he and Baldoni ended up conceding to the request “due to feeling trapped.” He shared, “She continues to hold a threat over our heads and every time we try and hold a line she uses that threat either directly or indirectly to get us to fold.” He further claimed that they conceded because they needed to complete the movie.
