Happy New Year from all of us at FandomWire! We’ve made it to 2026, and what better way to kick things off than by keeping your LinkedIn Games streak alive?
The first set of puzzles for the year is here, and thankfully, LinkedIn seems to have taken pity on all of us waking up from New Year’s celebrations. Today’s games feel more relaxed than usual, leaning into a celebratory tone instead of starting 2026 with a brain-melter.
And when you’re done flexing your puzzle-solving muscles, swing by FW Gaming to try out some of our own web games!
LinkedIn Mini Sudoku Solution for January 1, 2026 (#143)
The Mini Sudoku keeps its usual 6×6 format and consistent difficulty. Today’s puzzle flows easily once you lock in the top couple of rows. Nothing too devious here, just a good start to the year.
Here’s the complete solution:
- Row 1: 2, 5, 1, 4, 6, 3
- Row 2: 6, 4, 3, 5, 2, 1
- Row 3: 5, 2, 4, 1, 3, 6
- Row 4: 1, 3, 6, 2, 4, 5
- Row 5: 4, 6, 5, 3, 1, 2
- Row 6: 3, 1, 2, 6, 5, 4
LinkedIn Zip Solution for January 1, 2026 (#290)
Zip gets into the New Year’s spirit today. Solving it reveals a glowing “2026” across a fireworks-lit sky, and it’s a nice payoff for a puzzle that’s already more visual than tricky.
Start by connecting points 1 and 2, sitting right next to each other. From point 2, go up one square, then left three squares. Go down one square, then continue left all the way to the edge. Head up until you hit point 3.
Next, move up once from point 3 and draw right to point 4. Go down one, left two, down once again, then drag right toward the edge. You’ll pass point 5 and stop at point 6.
From point 6, go up once, left once, up once, right once, up once, then drag straight onto points 7 and 8, which are waiting side by side at the top left edge of the grid.
LinkedIn Tango Solution for January 1, 2026 (#451)
Today’s Tango gives you seven pre-filled squares to work with, and the bottom row starts completely blank. It’s not the hardest puzzle to kick off the year, which I appreciate.
Here’s the full solution:
- Row 1: Sun, Moon, Moon, Sun, Moon
- Row 2: Moon, Sun, Moon, Sun
- Row 3: Sun, Moon, Sun, Sun, Moon
- Row 4: Sun, Moon, Moon, Sun
- Row 5: Moon, Moon, Sun, Moon, Sun
- Row 6: Sun, Moon, Sun, Moon, Sun, Moon
LinkedIn Queens Solution for January 1, 2026 (#611)
This 9×9 grid has a nice New Year’s touch: two of the colored regions shape into a “2” and a “6” if you squint just right. Nice touch, LinkedIn.
Here’s where all nine queens land today:
- Queen #1: Row 1, Column 4
- Queen #2: Row 2, Column 2
- Queen #3: Row 3, Column 9
- Queen #4: Row 4, Column 3
- Queen #5: Row 5, Column 6
- Queen #6: Row 6, Column 8
- Queen #7: Row 7, Column 1
- Queen #8: Row 8, Column 7
- Queen #9: Row 9, Column 5
LinkedIn Pinpoint Solution for January 1, 2026 (#611)
This might be the easiest Pinpoint you’ll ever get. The first hint is “Learn a new skill,” and if you’re breathing on January 1, you probably already know the theme. The second hint is “Volunteer,” followed by “Exercise more,” then “Save money,” and finally “Not break it by Feb. this year.”
That last hint basically hands you the answer on a silver platter. The theme is: New Year’s resolutions!
LinkedIn Crossclimb Solution for January 1, 2026 (#611)
The final puzzle of the day brings the wordplay energy to close things out. Here’s the full solution for today’s Crossclimb:
- It holds up a note on a bulletin board: TACK
- Sound of a bell: TOLL
- Arachnid pest: TICK
- Give a speech: TALK
- Towering in height: TALL
Before finding the last two words, arrange the five you have in this order so only one letter changes from word to word: TOLL → TALL → TALK → TACK → TICK
That unlocks the top and bottom slots with this hint: “Basketball maneuver ___ and ___, made out of words that can mean to select something and to move by turning.”
And the final two words are: ROLL and PICK!
How did you find today’s LinkedIn Games? Did the New Year’s theme make the puzzles feel more fun, or were you just focused on keeping your streak going? Let me know in the comments!
