Elsa Bloodstone is set to officially join Marvel Rivals this Friday, February 13, 2026, as part of the Season 6.5 mid-season update. NetEase has confirmed the monster hunter will become the game’s 47th playable hero, following Deadpool’s headline grabbing tri role debut earlier in Season 6.0.
The timing couldn’t be more fitting. Friday the 13th is about as on-brand as it gets for a character whose entire career revolves around hunting supernatural threats with enchanted weapons and zero patience for nonsense.
What We Know About Elsa Bloodstone’s Marvel Rivals Debut
The final Season 6 content drop landed on February 6, headlined by Magneto’s Seat of Autumn and Groot’s Mecha Flora skins. Exactly one week later, Season 6.5 arrives with its featured hero and what is expected to be a Valentine’s Day-themed event.
NetEase has noticeably shifted its marketing rhythm as of late. Recent seasons have leaned into shorter promotional windows, keeping reveals closer to launch to fuel speculation.
But with Friday fast approaching, Elsa’s official character trailer and the Season 6.5 Dev Vision breakdown, hosted by fan favorites Guangguang and Zhiyong, are expected to drop within the next day or two.
As for gameplay specifics, the devs have yet to confirm Elsa’s role classification (let alone any of her abilities), and there are no credible leaks pointing in any direction either. For now, players are left to infer her role based on her visible weapon loadout from limited footage rather than any concrete details.
Who Is Elsa Bloodstone in Marvel Comics & Marvel Rivals?
Elsa’s presence in Marvel Rivals Season 6 has been subtle but memorable. She made a last-second entrance in the Night at the Museum trailer, putting a bullet through Deadpool’s forehead and immediately establishing their dynamic. Outside of that moment, though, Elsa has largely existed through lore pages and main menu background art.

Her comic book origins trace back to December 2001’s Bloodstone miniseries by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning.
As the daughter of immortal monster hunter Ulysses Bloodstone, she inherited both his obsession with supernatural threats and the Bloodstone choker, granting her superhuman strength, regeneration, and blood that is lethal to vampires. She has worked alongside heroes like Doctor Strange, Blade, Ghost Rider, and yes, Deadpool, leading teams like the Midnight Sons and Nextwave.
The trailer footage itself showed her wielding dual weapons, including a shotgun and the Breathing Gun, a deep cut Marvel artifact already referenced in Marvel Rivals lore. That loadout has most players expecting a Duelist role, though a smaller group is still holding out hope for a Strategist twist. Vanguard, at least on paper, seems unlikely.
With NetEase staying silent thus far, the Dev Vision reveal should finally settle the debate. Do you think Elsa Bloodstone ends up as a Duelist, or is the studio hiding one last surprise? Let us know in the comments below.
