Today’s Patches is all about placing the smaller pieces first so the larger blocks naturally fall into place. If you’ve been trying to force the big shapes early, this order should make the puzzle much smoother.

  • Light Blue: Starting from the top-left corner, form a horizontal rectangle using two squares.
  • Red: Directly to the right of the Light Blue rectangle, form a vertical rectangle using two squares.
  • Purple: To the right of the Red rectangle, form a 3×2 rectangle using six squares across the top.
  • Orange: Starting from the top-right corner, form a vertical rectangle using two squares.
  • Mustard Yellow: Directly below the Light Blue rectangle, form a 2×2 square.
  • Teal: To the right of the Mustard Yellow square, form a long horizontal rectangle stretching toward the right edge.
  • Brown: Starting below the Mustard Yellow square on the far-left side, form a vertical rectangle using four squares.
  • Magenta: Directly to the right of the Brown rectangle, form a vertical rectangle using three squares.
  • Green: Use the center of the grid to form a large 3×3 square.
  • Periwinkle: To the right of the Green square, form a 2×2 square.
  • Dark Pink: Starting below the Magenta rectangle, form a long horizontal rectangle across the bottom-left section.
  • Pink: Fill the remaining space in the bottom-right corner with a vertical rectangle using four squares.

Today’s Zip is quite easy, but don’t let that fool you into rushing. Most of the route consists of short zig-zags that weave through the grid before opening up near the end.

Starting from Point 1, go one square up, one right, and one up again, then head two squares left to reach Point 2. Continue left to Point 3, then draw a straight path all the way down to the bottom-left corner. Turn right and follow the bottom edge until you reach the wall, then work your way upward with a series of zig-zags, filling every available square as you make your way to Point 4.

From Point 4, continue zig-zagging toward the top-right corner. Once you reach it, move three squares down and one square left to touch Point 5. From there, the remaining path is fairly open. Simply fill every unused square while connecting Points 6, 7, and 8 to complete today’s Zip.

  • Queen #2: Row 2, Column 5

LinkedIn Crossclimb Solution for July 14, 2026 (#805)

Crossclimb asks you to solve five clues first before arranging the answers into a word ladder where only one letter changes between each step. Here are today’s clue answers:

  • Clothing that might be put on a foot before putting on a shoe: SOCK
  • Enjoying a long bath: SOAK
  • Wild pig: BOAR
  • Loading area by the water in a harbor town: DOCK
  • Fly high into the air, like an eagle: SOAR

The correct ladder order is DOCK → SOCK → SOAK → SOAR → BOAR (or the reverse), with only one letter changing each time. Doing that unlocks the final hint: “A word for a vehicle that travels on the water, and another word for the horizontal surface one can stand on when traveling on that vehicle. Keep in mind: The first word may be at the bottom.”

And the final two words are… “DECK” and “BOAT“.

LinkedIn Pinpoint Solution for July 14, 2026 (#805)

Today’s Pinpoint starts with the hint “Wine,” which could point to several countries. The second hint, “Croissants,” narrows things considerably, and “Impressionism” makes the theme even harder to miss. Finally, “Berets” and “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité” remove any remaining doubt.

The answer is “Things associated with France”!

Which LinkedIn puzzle gave you the most trouble today? Was it Tango’s limited starting clues, or did Zip’s constant zig-zagging slow you down? Let us know down in the comments!
