However, it looks like we might have found our winner here. According to an Instagram post, Andrew Garfield’s version possessed key attributes that make him the best Spider-Man among the three.
Over the years, the friendly neighborhood superhero has gotten uncountable versions across different media. In live-action, we have got three Spider-Men and the very first Tobey Maguire’s version has got a massive fanbase. But it is often said that Maguire was more of a better Peter Parker while TASM provided us with a better Spider-Man.

We have seen three distinct versions of Spider-Men in live action in the form of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. It seems that several fans also share the same feelings. A user commented “Finally…. Someone said it” while another wrote, “Tobey is the best Peter Parker and Andrew is the best Spider-Man”.
The post has uncountable comments that show similar emotions. Over the years, many fans have also praised the swinging actions of the TASM. The demand for a third TASM movie also rose after the release of No Way Home. It looks like Andrew Garfield’s version of the superhero is finally getting the long-overdue love.
What makes Andrew Garfield the best Spider-Man?
One of the key points that troubled Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is the writing. It can’t be denied that the writing of TASM 2 was terrible and contributed to the disappointing results. However, the Tick, Tick… Boom! actor gave his best and along with some of the most well-staged action and web-swinging actions carried the movie on his shoulders.
Besides having amazing skills in action, Garfield’s wall-crawler also had a unique sense of humor during his fights.
