It has been reported repeatedly that Marvel Studios has been facing an editing, pacing, and story structure problem. Further prioritizing faster pacing and less breathing room in their films, Kevin Feige has been slammed for focusing on quantity over quality. Thus, industry scoopers revealed how Feige is now trying to correct the course of Marvel, with a strategy that comes at a heavy cost.

Kevin Feige’s MCU is a Bit of a Pickle

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is no longer in its full glory like it used to be until 2019. Currently, Marvel has gone from being the ultimate source of entertainment to a hub for loyal fans. From losing viewership to struggling with serious issues, Kevin Feige‘s MCU has been a bit of a pickle lately. It’s no longer the superhero universe we are familiar with.

Now, MCU simply appears to be on a relentless mission to provide a never-ending stream of interconnected content. Diverging from the goal of never running out of brilliant superhero storytelling, Marvel has now been focusing on simply pumping out a lot of content. Burning people out on superheroes, the MCU is now compromising the quality.

Losing out on familiar faces like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, Kevin Feige is now desperate to find promising actors poised to take the MCU by storm. Unfortunately, no one in the industry so far has proved to be capable of replacing the void left by Iron Man and Captain America. Therefore, Feige’s desperation is turning out to be detrimental.

Kevin Feige’s Course Correction Strategy

Struggling with major issues within the MCU, Kevin Feige has been facing criticism from fans and complications that might ruin the future of Marvel. Previously, he believed that the strategy of pushing more content and feeding fans with uncountable shows would help him keep his fans contended. But failing to realize that fans want quality over quantity, Feige unfortunately plagued the MCU with uncertainty.

Therefore, realizing that the strategy of pushing out an abundance of content might have been its undoing, Kevin Feige is now trying to correct the course of Marvel that will help save its risky future. Realizing that their deviation from the traditional model has raised concerns about their excellence, Feige began implementing his course correction strategy as per industry scooper Daniel Richtman

It has been reportedly revealed that Kevin Feige, who has been the mastermind behind the MCU, is taking a step back to reassess their strategy. Making the difficult decision of realigning the studio’s creative direction, Feige is now planning to focus on animated stuff and live-action movies. Keeping away from developing live-action shows at the moment, Feige is trying to fix the problem.

Fans Offer Their Opinion on the Strategy

Fans have always been looking for this day when Marvel begins to strike a balance between quantity and quality. Willing to see their favorite MCU back on a track record of success, fans are happy to learn about the reported decision to divert from live-action shows to focus on animation and films.

Although Kevin Feige’s decision to implement his course correction strategy comes at the heavy cost of having not many live-action shows, fans are seemingly happy with the tradeoff. As long as MCU gains back its glory days, fans are happy with any strategy that Feige implements.
