Sean Diddy Combs Might be in Bigger Danger Outside of Prison: Ex-bodyguard Gene Deal Warns Diddy While He Tries to Get $50 Million Bail

After living a life filled to the brim with luxuries, Sean “Diddy” Combs is probably not having a good time at the Metropolitan Detention Center. After getting arrested on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in pr*stitution, Diddy is awaiting the trial that will decide his future. His trial is set for May 05, 2025.

There are about five months to go before Diddy gets to stand in the courtroom. It goes without saying that the industry mogul is restless in prison and wants an out as soon as possible. While his lawyers try and try again to get him out on bail, his former bodyguard Gene Deal believes that Diddy is probably much safer inside the jail than outside.

Gene Deal Makes a Bold Statement

Diddy’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal, gave explosive statements about his then-boss and his violent tendencies when he appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Now, Deal is back and he has more to say. Appearing on The Art of Dialogue, he claimed that Diddy’s life would be in much more danger if he was to be released on bail than it is inside prison.

According to him, the federal government is “playing a game” with Diddy. They might want to use him to get evidence on others they want behind bars. If that happens and Diddy complies, Deal believes that his life could be in danger.

He stated,

I believe if he gets out and enough people feel like him being a danger – because what happens is, right now, the federal government is playing a qame with him. They playing a game with him because they want him probably to be a witness or to turn over some evidence on some other people that they would like to have behind bars too. And you got to realize this, for him to do that and if he does that, his life is more in danger outside of jail than it is in.

If what Deal has said is to be believed, it looks like staying behind bars might be the best option for Diddy at the moment. Meanwhile, his legal team is trying their best to get him out and they’re ready to pay an absurd amount of money for their client’s freedom as well.

Will Diddy’s Bail Finally be Accepted?

US Weekly obtained court documents in which U.S. Attorney Damian Williams and his legal team maneuvered through the most recent plea for Diddy’s immediate albeit temporary freedom. While his lawyers have proposed he be released on a $50 million bail, the prosecutors aren’t too keen on letting him walk.

According to the letter sent to the U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanium by the attorneys, the bail package doesn’t ensure “the safety of the community, including from the defendant’s ongoing efforts to obstruct this case, nor does it adequately protect from risk of flight.” Citing these reasons, they have asserted that the “renewed application for bail must be denied.”

Williams’ team also brought up Diddy’s history of violence and s*xual abuse towards women, be it his romantic partners or the members of his personal staff. Thus, they state that all of this must be taken into account while also reviewing Diddy’s obstructive activity (Via Deadline).

If the bail is to be accepted, Diddy will be taken from the Metropolitan Detention Center and placed in a 24/7 security surveillance three-bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side. The ruling from Subramaniam is expected before Thanksgiving.
