Stan Lee‘s home, located in Bird Streets, Los Angeles, was listed on the market for $8.8 million (via Homes of Celebs). As of writing, the listed price was cut by $150k to $8.65 million (via Zillow). The site mentioned the property’s features: a 5,285 sqft home with 3 beds and 7 baths.

The property also contains luxurious amenities like interior accents, a movie theater, a sauna, a pool, a spa, a cabana, and a spacious master suite. Those entering the Stan Lee estate would be surprised to see three welcoming guests. The Marvel legend has installed three life-sized Spider-Man statues in iconic poses. The three statues can be bought either individually or along with the house. Fans will quickly notice that all three costumes are designed based on Tobey Maguire‘s Spider-Man films.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Lee sold a $2.8 million home in the Los Angeles neighborhood. In 2019 after his death, his San Francisco condo was also listed for sale at $1.35 million. Until his death in 2018, he was paid a $1 million salary by Marvel. Earlier in 2002, he had reached a $10 million settlement with the company over the rights of his creations.

When asked about his low income when compared to George Lucas, he shared with Playboy Magazine (via Celebrity Net Worth):

George Lucas did it all by himself. He came up with the ideas. He produced the movies. He wrote and directed them and held the rights to the merchandising. It was all his. In my case I worked for the publisher. If the books didn’t sell, the publisher went broke—and a lot of publishers did go broke.

Stan Lee’s net worth was estimated to be $50 million at the time of his death. It was a shame considering he could’ve earned billions if his lawsuit against Marvel for 10% of profits had gone in his favor.
