What’s up with Jason Momoa and his viral fake videos? Well, a hilarious clip has been making rounds online with the Aquaman star reacting to David Corenswet’s latest Superman trailer. With the movie arriving in a few weeks, fans are totally excited for the superhero’s first landing in the new DC Universe.
Don’t be fooled by the video, though—it is absolutely fake and only made by a fan just for laughs. It’s the same guy who made that impressively good editing of Momoa taking the stand at Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s trial.

After his stint as Aquaman, actor Jason Momoa officially joins James Gunn’s franchise in his dream role. But before that, we have to see him give a reaction to the upcoming Superman movie —at least, in a parody style.
On YouTube, user GeoMFilms created a hilarious edit of Momoa sitting for an interview-slash-reaction video of the latest Superman trailer. He looked very excited in the video, and as soon as the clip started, he immediately shared his thoughts.
When Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane asked David Corenswet’s Clark Kent, “Are you being serious right now?” Momoa said, “Amber Heard would always ask me that.” He also remarked that he just noticed it wasn’t Henry Cavill on the screen before sending a message that he misses his former DCEU costar.
Somewhere in the fake video, Momoa took a jab at Amber Heard by saying, “Be careful with this crazy chick, Clark, cuz she may just drop a deuce on your bed sheets,” and when Brosnahan’s character mentioned Superman’s dog, the Justice League star said, “Ain’t nothing wrong with that. I used to have one, and I called it Amber T*rd.”
The clip garnered more than 30,000 views on YouTube as of this writing, and many fans found it funny, some even thought it was real because of the seamless editing. This is reminiscent of the time the same fan made a fake video of Momoa testifying in court during Johnny Depp’s battle against Heard.
Like the spoof he did with the Superman trailer, the humorous voice-over on the fake trial video seemed very genuine. There, the editor made fun of the actress, too.
Did Jason Momoa and Amber Heard get along?
There had been reports that Momoa and Heard did not get along after the actress accused her co-star of being drunk and dressing like her ex-husband on movie set, as per Variety. The claim said that the actor wanted Heard to get fired from the project.
However, a witness who was on set refuted Heard’s claims and insisted that Momoa never shows up drunk at work, and he’s always dressed in a bohemian style.
Heard fought to stay in the movie and even settled for a pared-down role. Interestingly, an entertainment industry expert said that she was able to retain her part in the movie because Momoa had fought for her.
Superman hits theaters on July 11, 2025 (USA).
