Demon Slayer’s Infinity Castle arc is about to be animated into a movie trilogy, and it might become the next biggest hit. The anticipation is at an all-time high, and fans can’t wait to see Nakime’s talents in the arc. It’s going to be a full-out battle against the Hashiras, the main characters against Muzan.
The biggest threat in the arc, aside from Muzan, is Nakime, who actually owns the Infinity Castle and also controls it. So far, Nakime’s talents have stayed hidden, but they will play a huge role in the movies. Unfortunately, the one Hashira who was tailor-made to fight her is no longer in the equation.
The Hashira who is the perfect fit to fight Nakime in Demon Slayer

The Hashira in question is Tengen Uzui, the loud and boisterous Sound Hashira who won over the hearts of fans in season 2 of Demon Slayer. This flashy guy might be boastful and flamboyant about most things, but the one thing he never has to exaggerate is his battle capabilities. Being a former Hashira, he was a skilled combatant, and his physical feats are next to impossible.
Tengen is so powerful that he was able to fend off Daki and Gyutaro simultaneously despite being infected with a poison. He is also one of the fastest Hashiras, making him a deadly combination of skills. But his supernatural ability is what makes him the perfect fit for battling Nakime.
Tengen possesses a heightened sense of hearing, which allows him to hear noises coming from deep underground and even from all around him. He can use it to discern underground tunnels and caves beneath him. He can use echolocation to accurately locate the number of people and their positions in places near him, even if he is in an enclosed space or building.
Tengen can use his sense of hearing and battle analysis together with Sound Breathing. He can thus analyze the rhythm of his enemies’ attacks into sounds and read them like sheet music to the point that battles become like songs to him. He can then understand his opponent’s tactics, habits, and blind spots.
If only Tengen was able to fight Nakime in Infinity Castle
Nakime does not have much in terms of fighting ability, but she can strum her biwa and control the Infinity Castle. There are countless rooms in the fortress, all of which Nakime can control with her music. She sits at the center of the entire castle while everything else distorts around her.
Tengen, with his echolocation, would be able to discern the space around him and understand the changing pattern of the Infinity Castle. He would be able to detect his enemies as well as the other Hashiras within the castle and reach where he needed to without losing his sense of direction in the maze-like fortress.
Additionally, since Nakime uses biwa to control the Infinity Castle, Tengen would be able to decipher her patterns into sheet music and then use it to defeat her by reading her moves. Unfortunately, Tengen had to retire after season 2 because of the extensive injuries he sustained in his battle against Upper Moon 6, Daki, and Gyutaro. He has lost an arm and an eye and would not be able to fight to his fullest potential anymore.
