The Epstein list is once again dominating headlines. Recently, a group of Jeffrey Epstein‘s victims announced that they will be disclosing the identities of the list of the child s-x offender’s clients themselves, without the government’s involvement. While speaking to the press, one of the victims said (via @FearedBuck on X):
Several of us Epstein survivors have been discussing our own list of names. We know the names. Many of us were abused by them. Now, together, as survivors, we will confidentially compile the names we all know were in the Epstein world. It will be done by survivors, for survivors. No one else is involved. Stay tuned for more details on that. Because history is watching, and so are the women who will come after us. Thank you.
On NBC News, as well, a victim of the convicted s-x trafficker revealed that a group of survivors is compiling a client list of their own, in their quest for justice amid growing concerns about the failure of the Justice Department to publicly release the infamous “Epstein files.”

However, the surprising part is that, even though the public has long been in anticipation of these files, this latest announcement isn’t quite sitting well with them – for reasons all too understandable.
Netizens Feel This Public Announcement About Jeffrey Epstein’s List Wasn’t a Good Idea
While in the clip, the Epstein victim garnered tremendous acclaim and lauding from the audience, netizens feel that announcing the fact that they will be disclosing the identities of the close associates of Jeffrey Epstein so publicly was not a good idea. If anything, instead of further delaying it, they should have just started name-dropping right then and there, in front of the press.

Although that’s that, it remains to be seen how exactly things will end up turning out, now that even the survivors are threatening to disclose the identities of Epstein’s clients.
Donald Trump’s Administration Has Been Slow to Act on the Epstein Files
The netizen’s outrage at the public announcement of this news also stems from the fact that Donald Trump‘s administration has been incredibly slow to act on the Epstein files. Even though the president previously said on the campaign trail that he had “no problem” releasing the Epstein files, his administration has consistently slapped away questions around Epstein.
In a panicked bid to bury the crisis, the House Oversight Committee even recently released some 33,000 documents that were related to the late s-x trafficker’s extensive crimes. The only problem was that many of these were already public, making this move a backlash-inducing one.
Pointing out that over 97% of the documents released were already in the public record, Democrat and ranking member Robert Garcia said (via The Daily Beast),
I’m glad all those files have been released to the American public, but most of it is already in the public record. What we need right now is full compliance with the subpoena, and the Attorney General, who once said that the files were on her desk, should release all the files immediately.
As the public outrage continues to increase over the matter, it is yet to be seen how Trump and the Republicans will act on this latest move from Epstein’s victims, especially after their own beratingly slow action on releasing the Epstein files.
