Helldivers 2 players just don’t miss any details, whether it’s hidden satire in a trailer, subtle changes on the battlefield, or something unusual moving across the sky.
Recently, sharp-eyed Helldivers noticed an unknown jet flying over Cyberstan. The aircraft isn’t a normal Eagle jet, and now the community is asking Arrowhead: What is this new plane? Is it a future upgrade or something bigger coming to the war effort?
A Classified Craft Above the Battlefield? Helldivers Want Answers
The mystery aircraft spotted over Cyberstan has immediately sparked debate in the Helldivers 2 community. Veterans are pointing out that the silhouette of the jet doesn’t match the familiar Eagle jets they call in during missions. The profile looks a little different.
While many theories and speculations are floating around the community, the most plausible has to be that these jets could be dedicated spacecraft to maintain supremacy in the air and protect Super Destroyers from bot surface-to-space threats.
Arrowhead, can we please get a small lore drop on the Super Earth jets that fly around Cyberstan? Because those are not Eagles

On the other hand, some speculate they might be the standard Super Earth Armed Forces (SEAF) aircraft, which are given higher budgets to keep the frontline secured. Helldivers are expendable, so better gear is not issued to Helldivers for short, high-risk deployments.
There are also hopeful theories that these could eventually become a stratagem. Imagine disabling anti-air defenses and temporarily calling in jet support to intercept bot dropships mid-air. For now, though, the aircraft remain untouchable: visible, mysterious, and unexplained.

And of course, in true Helldivers fashion, some players jokingly insist they’re just “Super Pigeons.”
The Cyborg Front Is Thrilling in Helldivers 2, But It’s Missing Something
While the mysterious jet has grabbed the attention of the players, much of the discussion is slowly shifting to something more grounded: Cyberstan’s atmosphere… or lack of it.
Players are happy that the fights against Cyborg forces are intense and chaotic. Especially the introduction of the Vox Engine has made Cyberstan one of the most challenging battlefronts in the game. This added difficulty has been widely praised by many.

With many enjoying the strategic pressure and heavier combat pacing, they are also facing a recurring issue: the map feels too quiet. Many players describe Cyberstan as “dead silent” outside of gunfire and music.
Heavy enemies like Hulks can approach with surprisingly little audio warning. Players argue that better ambient audio could make Cyberstan feel truly alive and even more terrifying. For now, the mysterious jets remain unexplained, silently cutting across equally silent skies.
