Dwayne Johnson Responds After Accidentally Ignoring NFL Star Taylor Lewan

Dwayne Johnson may have missed spotting the former Tennessee Titans offensive tackle, Taylor Lewan, during one of his recent public appearances. However, The Rock addressed the incident a few hours ago and directed Lewan on what to do if he ignores him in the future.

Johnson chuckled at his miss despite not feeling too good about it. Hence, he asked Lewan to “smack” him in the head if the situation repeats itself. (via @The Rock on X)

“Dude, what in theeeeee fu*k lol. Why didn’t you say something!!? Smack me in the head next time brother.”

It looks like Johnson didn’t mind interacting with Lewan even after noticing him, but his mind was probably somewhere else, given his busy schedule.

Dwayne Johnson Is Busy Promoting ‘The Smashing Machine’

Johnson’s next Hollywood project, The Smashing Machine, is set to release on October 3. The Benny Safdie-directed biographical sports drama, based on the life of UFC legend Mark Kerr, features Johnson in the lead role as Kerr. As a result, the 53-year-old is running on a packed schedule and appearing on various renowned public platforms to promote the movie.

Johnson is also providing fans with a few background stories related to The Smashing Machine amid his recent appearances on public platforms. The Rock graced The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon a day ago, revealing how he had to gain “over 30 pounds of muscle” to achieve the physique demanded by his role.

“I had to put on 30 pounds of, [correction] just over 30 pounds of muscle [for the role].”

Johnson also detailed that the requirement of his role to “move like an MMA fighter” after gaining 30 lbs made it even more challenging.

“Mark Kerr had just this quality of muscle, like, fast-twitch-quality muscle, because he was a wrestler [who transitioned to MMA]. And I had to put on this weight, [and] still be able to move like an MMA fighter.”
