Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 6: Global Release Date, Time and What to Expect

Spoiler Alert !!!
Major spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 5!

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 5 left with blood on its hands and sorrow in its throat. Matt Murdock dragged Bullseye through tunnels, kitchens, and a church while trying to save the very man who murdered Foggy. Wilson Fisk sat by Vanessa’s hospital bed, clinging to hope one second and losing everything the next. Karen Page was pulled straight back into the fire. Daniel Blake learned that working near Fisk is not politics as usual.

It is a bargain with teeth. With Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Deborah Ann Woll, Ayelet Zurer, and Michael Gandolfini all caught in the aftermath, Episode 6 looks set to pick up from a place where nobody gets to breathe easy. If Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 5 was grief with a pulse, Episode 6 feels primed to become grief with consequences.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 6: What to Expect

The title alone says plenty: Requiem is not the name you give a calm hour. It carries mourning in plain sight, and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 5 handed the writers a loaded chamber to work with. Vanessa Fisk is dead. Wilson Fisk ended that episode devastated, and when a man like Fisk loses the person he loves most, he is not likely to become reflective and gentle.

So what should fans expect in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 6?

First, Fisk’s response will almost certainly drive the hour. Episode 5 ended with heartbreak, but heartbreak in this story usually shows up wearing steel-toed boots. Fisk already wanted Daredevil and Bullseye brought in alive. Now that Vanessa is gone, that order could curdle into something even harsher. He may want answers. He may want punishment. He may want the whole city to feel what he feels. With the AVTF already on the ground, the chances of a citywide crackdown feel very real.

Second, Matt Murdock’s moral choice in Episode 5 should come due. He saved Bullseye, the man responsible for Foggy’s death, because Foggy’s memory pulled him toward mercy instead of revenge. That is noble, yes, but nobility often arrives with a bill attached. Karen’s shock at seeing Bullseye alive in the Punisher’s hideout suggests that Episode 6 may spend real time on the fallout. Matt can justify the choice to himself. Explaining it to Karen is a different kettle of fish. If the show is smart, and this season usually has been, it will let that argument sting.

Third, Bullseye’s survival should matter beyond simple escape. He spent Episode 5 speaking like a man already halfway out the door, convinced that fate had balanced the books. But now he is alive, injured, and sitting among people who have every reason to despise him. That puts him in a nasty, fascinating position. He could become a reluctant source of information. He could become a weapon everyone is afraid to hold. Or he could do what he does best and make every room more dangerous just by breathing in it.

Fourth, Daniel Blake now looks poised to slide deeper into Fisk’s inner circle. Buck Cashman did not drag him into the woods for sport. That scene played like an initiation rite with dirt under its fingernails. Blake has now seen the machinery up close. Whether he embraces it or simply freezes inside it, he is in too deep to pretend innocence.

We also would not be surprised if Episode 6 keeps threading Foggy through Matt’s decisions. Season 2 has used Foggy’s memory not as decoration, but as the pulse beneath Matt’s choices. If Requiem is truly a mourning hour, then Foggy, Vanessa, and everything Matt has lost may weigh on the episode all at once. That could make this one of the season’s most emotionally bruising chapters. And honestly, that would fit.

Episode 5 set the table beautifully. Now the show has to eat what it served. If Fisk’s grief turns him into something even uglier, if Matt’s mercy toward Bullseye starts tearing at his other relationships, and if Karen gets proper space in all of this, Requiem could leave a real mark.

Does Fisk go full scorched earth after Vanessa’s death? Does Karen forgive Matt for saving Bullseye? Drop your theory in the comments and follow FandomWire for more updates, recaps, and ending explainers.
