Light’s charismatic personality, academic brilliance, and good looks keep him out of most people’s suspicion. However, one underground detective, L, comes dangerously close to figuring him out.
Thus begins one of anime’s most brutal cat-and-mouse chases. To keep his identity hidden, Light even resorts to eliminating innocent people who get in his way.
