Here’s the solution for today’s LinkedIn Crossclimb:

  1. Something used to neutralize an acid: BASE
  2. Something Hans Christian Andersen wrote: TALE
  3. Loll in the sun: BASK
  4. Having above-average height: TALL
  5. Bundle of straw or hay: BALE

Before finding the last two words, you’ll need to arrange the first five in this order: BASK, BASE, BALE, TALE, TALL.

The hint for the last two words is: A two-word phrase for what you might do after you get a telephone message.

As always, keep in mind that either word can be at the top or bottom, depending on how you arranged the words.

And the last two words are: CALL and BACK.

The Pinpoint today is a pretty weird but fun one. The first hint is Electric Current, and the answer is nowhere close to being clear here. The second hint is Personal pronoun, and I think this might make the answer more confusing.

The third hint is Square root of -1, and the answer is clearer here, but it’s also a lot more confusing. The fourth hint is Iodine, and the answer is both very clear and also not, if that makes sense. The last hint is Roman numeral for 1, and the answer is: Different meanings of the letter “I”
