Akaash Singh‘s wife, Jasleen Singh, has been receiving backlash for her recent comments on her podcast. The haters accused her of being a gold digger and claimed that she was with Singh for his money. Singh has now allegedly come up with a response to these hate comments.
A fan recording, claiming to be from Singh’s recent stand-up show, surfaced on X, where he was heard defending his wife against the allegations. He shared in the audio clip, originally posted by the user @ItsKingSlime, that the “gold digger” allegations against his wife were a “sh*tty thing”. He went on to claim that he got together with his wife when he had no money. He shared:
My wife and I met in 2014. 1 was not making much money. I was getting 25 dollars a night on stand up. If she was a gold digger, that I didnt even have $10 to get the b*tch, to be honest. But then in 2018, I went flat f**king broke. 34 years old. I probably made $4000 an entire year and we couldn’t even afford the living room we lived in in New York City. We had to move out of hat apartment and move to New Jersey.
He further shared that after their move to New Jersey, they spent a month staying on her friend’s couch. He shared that they were basically homeless at the time. He further shared how he and his wife slept on the hardwood floor of their apartment. He shared:
It’s like October. We have nothing. So I hand her the jacket, and then she said, ‘What’s this for?’ ‘You can use that as a pillow.’ And then she goes, ‘What are you going to use?’ And I said, ‘I’ll figure it out.’ She hand me back the jacket. She was like, ‘You take this.’ And then she laid with her head on my chest and her arm around me the entire night.
He shared that he believed in that moment that he would never find a girl who loved him this much ever again. His alleged comments received both praise and criticism on X.
Jasleen Singh Hits Back at Her Haters With Wild Claims
Jasleen Singh has hit back at the haters, who called out her allegedly problematic behavior. Jasleen shared in the recent episode of her podcast, Main Character Pod, about how men making less than $60,000 were calling her a gold digger. She went on to slam them while claiming that Singh is a good husband.
She shared with her co-host, Nehal Tenany, “Where the f**k has chivalry gone? That’s where has chivalry gone? Like why do these men who make $60,000 a year talking about gold diggers?” She added, “You don’t have any gold to dig. You don’t even have to worry about it.”
She further went on to claim that guys like her and Tenany’s husbands were in the “1% tax bracket” and loved to take care of their women. She claimed that these guys wanted their women to be in their “divine feminine energy” so that they would emotionally support their husbands.
She shared that her husband used to spoil her with gifts like AirPods or Nike shoes, which she claimed “didn’t cost that much,” before he started making big money. She further shared that he now bought her a Miumu or Cartier, claiming, “I truly believe that a man who takes care of his wife is like blessed by the universe.”
She shared that Akaash Singh believed her happiness comes first, sharing, “If my mood is off, it bothers him. It bothers his work. It bothers what he gets along with his family. It bothers every part of him because he’s a real man.” She further reiterated her claims, sharing her belief in the saying “Happy wife, happy life.”
Myron Gaines’ Involvement in Akaash Singh’s Wife’s Drama
In a previous episode of Jasleen Singh and Nehal Tenany’s podcast, Main Character Pod, they discussed some wild topics, including threesomes, which drew backlash from fans. A video on X compiled all of Jasleen’s wild s*xual confessions, which has been receiving all the wrong kind of attention from fans.
Jasleen’s controversy was further fueled by the involvement of Myron Gaines, who had an old beef to settle with Singh. The Fresh&Fit podcast co-host wrote in the comments under Jasleen’s podcast video, “I hate being right all the time.”
The alleged feud between Singh and Gaines dates back to a 2022 podcast episode. When Gaines and his co-host Walter Weekes appeared on the Flagrant 2 podcast, hosts Singh and Andrew Schulz called them out for their content.
While explaining his beef with Asian Doll, Gaines brought up the fact that they don’t date Black women. Singh and Schulz were quick to call them out for the remark, sharing that their content was “corny” and “childish”. Singh shared that Gaines and Weekes were supposed to be Black role models and not set a bad example.
Schulz pointed out how Singh only pursued one brown woman and was married to her. Gaines only laughed during these comments and drew backlash from the audience for not being able to defend his own content.
When Gaines came across Jasleen’s latest content, he saw it as his chance to one-up Singh. Gaines took to X to berate Singh and his wife, commenting, “I’m never wrong about these women…”
I'm never wrong about these women…
— Myron Gaines (@MyronGainesX) November 7, 2025
Stupid ass jeet @AkaashSingh tried to lecture me about women years ago with his equally retarded co-host @andrewschulz aka AnJew Schulztein…
Here's this jeet's stupid ass wife making a mockery of him and herself on a podcast.…
Singh responded by posting the clip of their old interaction, adding, “My man out here getting triggered by jokes.” Gaines doubled down with more derogatory comments and a discussion of Jasleen’s alleged behavior during his podcast. He also posted an edited clip of Jasleen’s previous comments that went viral on X. However, Singh refrained from further responding to Gaines’s problematic comments.
