Despite Tom Holland not being in the cast of the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, it seems like his connection to the film is still there. In a recent report by industry insider Daniel Richtman, a new trailer for the upcoming Avengers film is specifically being made to be released alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day in 2026.
Although more details have not been provided about it yet, it seems like developing an entirely new trailer to go with Holland’s film, which is just before Doomsday’s release, has a deeper meaning. And if that wasn’t enough, there have been several instances where the MCU has hinted that the star is involved with the Phase 6 finale.
Hints That Point Towards Spider-Man Being a Part of Avengers: Doomsday
One of the major hints about Holland’s association with Avengers: Doomsday is that the first trailer for the film is set to release with the upcoming Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 19, 2025 (via Collider). When a trailer is already made to release this year, Marvel Studios’ efforts for development for a new one specifically to go with Brand New Day raise eyebrows.
And judging by another insider report, if Holland makes an appearance in the film, it’ll be a similar role to Avengers: Infinity War, which means not a lot of screen time, but an impactful contribution nonetheless. Adding to this, the release windows of both films are one after the other, which also suggests a connection that can take shape.
And the biggest hint of all was when both the shooting of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday were happening at Pinewood Studios in the UK at the same time and place. Thus, after learning about all this, it wouldn’t be surprising for fans if Spider-Man makes an unannounced entry.

And with RDJ returning in the form of Doctor Doom, the emotional stakes will be through the roof for Parker.
